Project Management Institute (PMI) Tucson Chapter

Bylaws

These bylaws were approved by PMI Tucson chapter members in late 2010. Although a significant revision (and simplification) from previous chapter bylaws, these new bylaws are based in large part on the currently recommended PMI-national guidelines.

Under these bylaws, the chapter board will be reduced from a maximum of eight positions, to six positions (plus the Past President):
  • Chapter President
  • VP Administration
  • VP Finance
  • VP Programs
  • VP Membership
  • VP Communications
  • Past President (ex-officio)
Additionally, officer terms will be changed from a single year, with a maximum of two consecutive terms, to two years, with a maximum of three consecutive terms. Officer terms will also be staggered, so that only 3 board positions are elected each year, instead of electing every position every year.
